Interesting box office clashes to look forward to

In the month of January, we saw two big box office clashes, Tahaji: The Unsung Warrior vs Chhapaak and Street Dancer 3D vs Panga. On Christmas 2020, it was supposed to be Aamir Khan vs Akshay Kumar as their respective films Laal Singh Chaddha and Bachchan Pandey were slated to release on the same day. But a few days ago, we came to know that the clash been averted.

However, in the coming months, we will get to see many interesting clashes…

Gunjan Saxena vs Chhalaang

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will be seen together on the big screen in RoohiAfza which is slated to release on 17th April 2020. However, before we get to see them on the big screen together, the two actors will be clashing at the box office on 13th March 2020. Janhvi’s Gunjan Saxena and Rao’s Chhalaang, both the films are slated to release on the same day.

Dil Bechara vs The Girl On The Train vs Shakuntala Devi vs Jhund

Two big films releasing on the same date is nothing new in Bollywood. But on 8th May there will be four big films hitting the screens. Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara, Parineeti Chopra’s The Girl On The Train, Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi, and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund. We can clearly say that this clash will affect the box office collection of all the films.

Laxmmi Bomb vs Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai

On Aamir Khan’s request, Akshay postponed the release of his film Bachchan Pandey. Now, we wonder if Salman Khan will request Akshay to change the release date of his Laxmmi Bomb as well. Akshay’s Laxmmi Bomb and Salman’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is slated to release on Eid 2020. So, we can say that this is clearly a clash of the titans.

Shamshera vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

While on one side there’s Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor with a grand film like Shamshera, on the other side it is a sequel of a super hit film like Bhool Bhulaiyaa with Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Moviegoers are waiting for both the films and it will be interesting to see which one will win the box office race on 31st July 2020.

Attack vs Bhuj: The Pride Of India vs Hungama 2

From the past couple of years, John Abraham was clashing with Akshay Kumar on Independence Day. But this year he will be clashing with Ajay Devgn and Shilpa Shetty. John’s Attack, Ajay’s Bhuj: The Pride of India and Shilpa Shetty’s Hungama 2 are slated to release on 14th August 2020.

Sardar Udham Singh vs Satyameva Jayate 2 vs Toofan

While Independence Day is filled with three films, even Gandhi Jayanti is quite crowded. Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham Singh, John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 and Farhan Akhtar starrer Toofan, all these three films are slated to release on 2nd October 2020.

Prithviraj vs Dhaakad

One more clash of the titans. It will be Kangana Ranaut vs Akshay Kumar at the box office. Akshay’s Prithviraj which also stars Manushi Chhillar is slated to release on Diwali this year and on the same day, Kangana’s Dhakaad is also slated to hit the screens.
