There have been reports from the past few months that Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in Luv Ranjan’s next which is a romantic-comedy. Earlier, the film was supposed to star Deepika Padukone as the female lead, but the actress opted out of the film.

Now, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the shooting of Ranjan’s film will kickstart in January 2021. A source told the tabloid, “It’s just a small schedule to start with and will end by January 14. Right after, Ranbir moves to the final leg of Brahmastra from mid-January during which he will shoot two songs and a few scenes. The film is expected to wrap up before January 31.”

After wrapping up Brahmastra, Ranbir will return to Ranjan’s film. The source stated, “Ranbir no longer wants his films to take so long to finish; the idea is to shoot nonstop for Luv’s film and complete it by May 2021.”

It is said that Ranbir has added a new clause in his contract that if the shoot of a film doesn’t get over in the specified time, he will charge an extra remuneration.

Ranbir was last seen on the big screen in the 2018 release Sanju. He has been busy shooting with Brahmastra and a few weeks ago he wrapped up the shooting of Shamshera. Both the films were scheduled to release this year, but due to the pandemic, they have been postponed.

The actor also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next in his kitty, and reportedly, he is in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali to star in Baiju Bawra. Meanwhile, apart from Luv Ranjan’s next, Shraddha Kapoor has Nagin in her kitty.
