Go Goa Gone 2 to hit the screens in March 2021

2013 release Go Goa Gone starred Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari and Puja Gupta in the lead roles. It was in 2018 when the makers had hinted at the sequel to the film and reportedly, the movie was supposed to go on the floors in 2019. However, that didn’t happen.

Now, the makers have announced the release date of Go Goa Gone 2. The movie will be releasing in March 2021. Maddock Films took to Instagram to inform everyone about it. They posted, “One can try, but never really escape this trip! Prepare yourself for the craziest sequel of the best "zom-com" as #GoGoaGone2 releases in March 2021! ?‍♂️ ?‍♀️ #DineshVijan | @ErosNow | @ErosIntlPlc.”

Well, mostly the sequel will have the same actors. In 2018, Vir Das had posted a picture with the director duo Raj & DK and with the star cast of the film. He had captioned the picture as, “2 Excited? @anandntiwari @khemster2 #rajanddk #gogoagone @krishna.dk @raj.nidimoru.”

Even Saif in an interview (in 2018) with a daily had confirmed that he will return as Boris in the sequel. He had stated, “We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second installment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script.”

Well, Go Goa Gone 2 is surely one of the most awaited sequels.
