Akshay Kumar to resume the shooting of Prithviraj in October?

Akshay Kumar is the first superstar to start shooting for a movie amid the pandemic. The actor is currently in Scotland shooting for his film Bell Bottom. And now, according to a report in Mid-day, after Bell Bottom, the actor will resume the shooting of Prithviraj in October.

The shooting of Prithviraj was stalled in March due to the pandemic, and before the rains, the makers had to dismantle the sets of the film. However now, soon they will start to rebuild the sets.

A source told the tabloid, "From October 1, the production design team will begin constructing two sets — the palace will be recreated in a ground in Jogeshwari, with another small set-up at Madh island. Considering it's an event film, Adi (Aditya Chopra) has instructed his team to ensure that the grandeur of the subject is not lost. The smooth shoot of Bunty Aur Babli 2 has boosted the confidence of the production house, and Adi is sure the team will be able to shoot the big-budget movie despite the restrictions."

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithviraj also stars Manushi Chhillar. It was slated to release on Diwali this year, but it will get postponed and there were reports that the makers are eyeing for a release in 2021.

Well, apart from Bell Bottom and Prithviraj, Akshay has films like Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, and Raksha Bandhan.

Apple could split its iPhone 18 launch across two different periods

Apple’s iPhone 18 launch could look very different this year. Here’s why

  • The standard iPhone 18 could be delayed until spring 2027.
  • Apple is reportedly preparing its first iPhone Ultra, potentially with a foldable design.
  • A shortage of chips and rising component costs could be adding pressure to Apple’s launch plans.

Apple may be about to break one of its most familiar product-launch routines.

The iPhone 18 is widely expected to feature at Apple’s usual September event in 2026, but reports suggest the standard model could be missing from the line-up. Instead, Apple could unveil the higher-end iPhone 18 Pro models alongside a new, more expensive iPhone Ultra, with the regular iPhone 18 arriving several months later.
