Rohit Shetty set to return to host Colors’ Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11

After Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 14 ended its glorious run on February 21 with Rubina Dilaik emerging as the winner and walking home with the coveted trophy along with prize money of 360 million, reality show addicts are waiting to cast their eyes on a new reality show as engaging and star-studded as Bigg Boss.

Well, if that is the case, here is the exciting piece of news for you. According to reports, Colors is set to launch the latest edition of its hugely popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi soon and with the show will also return its dashing host Rohit Shetty, who has hosted some of the most successful seasons of the reality show. If all goes as per plans, Shetty will start shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 from summer this year.

Spilling some more beans, a source close to the development told a publication, “As per his contract, Rohit has already committed for two seasons of Khatron Ke Khiladi and will start shooting for season 11 from summer this year. As of now, the plan is to shoot it abroad like they do with every season. They are on the hunt for a location where they can film safely. However, a final call on the shooting location will be taken at a later date keeping the Covid-19 situation in mind.”

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty is presently busy filming his next directorial Cirkus. The comedy film stars Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez in principal roles. Seasoned comedian Johnny Lever and Varun Sharma round out the supporting cast.

But before Cirkus hits the marquee, Shetty will see his much-awaited action entertainer Sooryavanshi arrive in theatres. The Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer, which was originally scheduled to release on March 24, 2020, will now debut in theatres on April 2, 2021.

Deepika Padukone hits back at pregnancy trolls with a simple gesture

Highlights:

  • Deepika Padukone has liked a social media post urging people to stop speculating about women faking their pregnancies, reports say.
  • It comes as she and Ranveer Singh mark daughter Dua's second birthday with a maternity photoshoot revealing Deepika's second pregnancy, a post that has already drawn over seven million likes.
  • The scrutiny echoes almost exactly what Deepika faced during her first pregnancy in 2024, when online speculation questioned whether her baby bump was even real.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh marked their daughter Dua's second birthday this week with a monochrome maternity photoshoot, revealing Deepika's second pregnancy alongside the toddler. The post went viral within hours, racking up millions of likes, with plenty of fans also unable to get over how much Dua has come to resemble her father. It also appears to have reopened a conversation Deepika has been here for once already.

What actually happened this time?

Reports say Deepika liked a post specifically addressing the pattern of speculation around women's pregnancies, carrying a simple, direct message: "Let her have this moment." She didn't need to write a lengthy statement of her own. A like on a post making that exact point was enough to make clear where she stands on a conversation that, for her, isn't new.
