Randeep Hooda starrer movie on Battle Of Saragarhi to roll from next week!

After facing innumerable delays for one reason or the other, the Randeep Hooda starrer untitled film, which is based on the famous Battle of Saragarhi, is all set to start shooting from next week. Director Rajkumar Santoshi confirms the news, saying, "Yes, we leave for Punjab next week where we will shoot for 40 days.”

The film was announced last year with Randeep Hooda in the titular role of Havildar Ishar Singh. The makers had even launched Hooda’s first look from the movie. However, due to various reasons, one of them being Indian Prime Minister’s demonetization drive, the project faced many issues and was put on hold for some time. But now, the team is all excited and looking for an excellent shooting schedule in Punjab. After its Punjab schedule, the whole team will head to Kazakhstan for the second schedule.

Talking about the Kazakhstan shooting schedule, Santoshi says, “The Kazakhstan shoot will be in the first week of March and we are putting up a set there. We were looking for a location like Afghanistan where the battle took place and found that in Kazakhstan. The weather conditions are harsh till February which is why we have pushed the shoot to March. It's a crucial sequence and will be shot over 45 days."

We all know that filmmaker Karan Johar is also making a film on Battle Of Saragarhi. Titled Kesari, the movie stars Akshay Kumar in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh and Parineeti Chopra as his love interest. When asked about the same, Santoshi says, "Akshay is a dear friend and Karan is a colleague, I wish them the best.”

Besides Randeep Hooda, Rajkumar Santoshi’s film also stars well-known actor Danny Denzongpa as the main antagonist.

  • Brooklyn Beckham requested that David and Victoria Beckham contact him only via lawyers during a period of strained relations
  • Legal letters were exchanged, though no formal action was taken
  • The request followed what Brooklyn viewed as damaging briefings about his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham
  • Both sides are said to be hoping for reconciliation, despite ongoing hurt

A breakdown that moved beyond private disagreement

Relations within the Beckham family deteriorated sharply last summer, reaching a point where Brooklyn Beckham asked his parents to communicate with him only through legal representatives. The request marked one of the most serious moments in an already strained relationship between the eldest Beckham son and his parents.

Sources say the instruction led to an exchange of letters between legal teams at Schillings, representing Brooklyn, and Harbottle & Lewis, who act for David and Victoria Beckham. While no legal proceedings were initiated, the correspondence made clear that Brooklyn did not want direct contact or public references to him from his parents, including on social media.
