Ashmit Patel and fiancee Maheck Chahal to get married in London

Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel and his fiancée Maheck Chahal are reportedly all set to get married in London. The wedding is expected to take place sometime in June 2018.

Patel and Chahal got engaged in Marbella, Spain last year and it was indeed a romantic affair. The couple headed to Marbella for some alone time after visiting their families in France and Norway, and Chahal instantly fell in love with the place.

When she said she would love to visit the town every year, Patel decided to pop the question there and ditched his plans for a grand proposal on the restaurant atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Talking to a leading media outlet, Ashmit detailed how he popped the question to his ladylove.

"I took her to a Belgian café. On the pretext of going to the washroom, I had a little chat with the waiter, who brought the ring in a bowl turned upside down on a plate of strawberries. Surprisingly, instead of the dessert, Maheck wanted to go down to the pier. She pushed the plate towards me. I finally, lifted the bowl off to reveal the ring and went down on one knee. In all the confusion, I forgot to ask her to marry me," he said.

Patel and Chahal will soon be seen in suspense thriller, Nirdosh. The couple recently opened up about the movie and said filming steamy sessions weren’t easy, despite knowing each other for more than a decade and dating for the last couple of years.

Chahal told a media outlet recently that she had to work extra hard to make intimate scenes look convincing and appealing at the same time, and couldn't always depend on their off-screen chemistry to help things along on-screen as well.
