It seems choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D'Souza was mighty impressed with Varun Dhawan's performance in ABCD 2, which was a sequel to his second directorial venture, ABCD, that is why he has announced the actor's name for ABCD 3, the third instalment of the film also.
Yes, while shooting the finale episode of his dance reality show, Dance Plus, for Star Plus, D'Souza surprised one and all when he suddenly announced the third instalment of his hit film franchise, ABCD: Anybody Can Dance, with Varun Dhawan in the lead role.
Interestingly, Varun was on the set only when Remo made the announcement. He had come to promote his upcoming comic-caper Judwaa 2 with his co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. Dhawan played the male lead in ABCD 2 which turned out to be a massive hit at the box office.
While making the announcement, Remo said that once he finishes Race 3 with Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, he would take ABCD 3 on floors with Varun, Dharmesh, Punit and Raghav.
While Shraddha Kapoor played the female lead in the second part, Remo has yet not revealed the name of the actress for the third instalment.
