Super fan of the week - Armaan Malik

Singing sensation Armaan Malik has made a huge impact on music and delivered songs that have won the hearts of fans around the world. This includes superfan Bhagyashree Baruah from Guwahati in Assam, India, who goes that one step extra for her idol.

Eastern Eye caught up with Bhagyashree to find out more.


What first connected you to Armaan Malik?

I saw him first time in a YouTube video. I remember seeing his interview in 2013, where he talked about music and his journey. I really loved it. After that, I searched about him on Google and started adoring him.

What made you become Armaan’s super fan?

His songs, humbleness, kindness, love for us and everything else made me become his super fan.

Tell us about something super you have done for Armaan?

Recently, we 16 girls made a video wishing him well for his new journey as a coach on The Voice India. He loved our work a lot. I am happy that we did it and because of us he was smiling.

What has been your most memorable moment?

The day he followed me on Twitter on March 28, 2017. Then on February 24 and 25 last year, I met him and attended his live concert.

What is the thing you most love about Armaan?

He is so amazing, kind, sweet, humble and beautiful, both inside and out.

Which quality in Armaan do you most relate to?

Singing, of course. He is a singer and I can sing too.

What is your favourite work Armaan has done?

He has done so much for his Armaanians. He surprises and inspires his fans on a regular basis. Recently, he joined Priyanka Chopra for the #SocialForGood cause. I think this is the most amazing work Armaan has done. He shared with us his own experiences about bullying in school and how to get over from this? He makes me so proud.

Why do you love being a super fan?

I love being a super fan of Armaan and the feeling is awesome. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He deserves the whole world and that is why I will keep supporting him till my last breath. I will be his #Armaanian till the end.

'The Brutalist' and 'Emilia Perez' lead Golden Globe wins
