Sanjay Gagnani set to exchange rings with longtime girlfriend Poonam Preet

Actor Sanjay Gagnani is a happy man as he will soon be getting engaged to the love of his life, Poonam Preet. The two have been together for six years and will be getting engaged during the Valentine’s Day week, on the 18th of February at Surat.

Talking about what he plans to wear on the special day, he says, “My stylist is working on it right now. Mostly it would be an Indo-western outfit which would be colour coordinated with my partner.”

Poonam also plans to wear an Indian ensemble. “I have not selected the dress as yet but I will prefer to wear an Indian lehenga choli, which is something light yet glamorous,” she says.

Although the two are getting engaged, they haven’t set a date to tie the knot just as yet. “There are no marriage plans as yet. We want to go with the flow. Our careers are our priority. We both want to invest a lot of our energies and time in our work before investing in our marriage,” he says.

Coming from the same professional background, Sanjay says that this makes it easy for him to understand Poonam’s work commitments and her to understand his. “It really helps. When there’s a lot of communication, the relationship becomes stronger. There’s always so much to talk about when you’re from the same industry. Exchanging viewpoints, helping each other, criticising, praising, discussing things about the industry etc., helps in understanding each other better in our lives,” he says.

Poonam, too, agrees with him. “When you are in the same profession, the level of understanding is often much higher. As we both are on the same career ship, there is no room for clarifications or explanations on things like overtime, extended shifts, or midnight emergencies. And we all know that understanding is one of the most important keys to a successful relationship,” she says.

Ask them what they love about each other, and Sanjay promptly says, “Her innocence,” while Poonam says, “I love that he's honest and always caring.”

At a time when marriages are breaking Poonam says she is not scared of this commitment. “I believe everybody's destiny is different so these things don't really bother me. I have faith in my relationship and I'm not at all marriage phobic. I have always dreamt of a fairytale wedding,” she says.

Sanjay admits to being a little hesitant initially but is now confident. “I was marriage phobic until a month back when I decided to finally get engaged in February. It took me six years to overcome my marriage phobia. It was all because of the bitter experiences I had in life before Poonam came in my life and made me believe in love again,” he says.

Rihanna flaunts baby bump in a striking black dress on Cannes date night with A$AP Rocky

Rihanna recently stepped out in Cannes, France, confidently showing off her baby bump during a date night with partner A$AP Rocky. The singer wore a daring black dress with a high slit and bold cutouts that highlighted her growing belly. Her outfit was simple yet elegant: a one-shoulder gown paired with black heels and a small purse. Rocky complemented her look, dressed in a dark trench coat and grey trousers.

This appearance came just days after Rihanna’s big pregnancy reveal at the 2025 Met Gala in New York City, where she stunned attendees by proudly displaying her bump. At the gala, she arrived wearing a stylish grey skirt set earlier in the day and later changed into a chic cropped suit with a pinstripe skirt and a dramatic hat. She finished the night at the afterparty in an all-black ensemble that also showed off her bump.

Vidya Balan says she wished to play the therapist in Netflix’s ‘Adolescence’, wants to explore layered global roles

And now, she’s looking beyond borders, towards global stories that carry weight and depth.

In a recent conversation during the Cannes season, Vidya spoke openly about the kind of characters that excite her today. One that’s stuck with her? A therapist in Adolescence, the gritty British drama on Netflix. It’s a role that, to her, captures the kind of emotional intensity she’s craving. “That’s top of my list right now,” she said, drawn to the show’s nuanced take on mental health, masculinity, and the digital chaos young people live in.

Janhvi Kapoor channels mother Sridevi’s timeless grace at Cannes 2025 in Tarun Tahiliani couture

Janhvi Kapoor’s first walk down the Cannes red carpet wasn’t just about fashion. It was a quiet, graceful nod to her late mother, Sridevi. Dressed in a soft rose outfit designed by Tarun Tahiliani, Janhvi chose not to speak about the tribute, but the resemblance in mood, elegance, and styling made the message loud enough for those who knew her mother’s legacy.

On 20 May, Janhvi stepped onto the red carpet for the premiere of Homebound, accompanied by her co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, director Neeraj Ghaywan, and producers including Karan Johar. The outfit, made from real tissue fabric woven in Benaras, had a delicate sheen and came with a veil that covered her low bun in a look that immediately reminded many of Sridevi’s timeless appearances in traditional wear.

Priyanka Chopra’s name misspelled at Bvlgari event, fans disappointed

Priyanka Chopra may have dazzled at a luxury Bvlgari event in Sicily, but what should have been a perfect evening was clouded by one glaring oversight. Her name was spelt wrong on the dinner table place card.

As Chopra shared glimpses of her glamorous night, from her Dior outfit and Italian pasta to scenic views and champagne by the pool, fans quickly caught on to a detail the brand clearly missed. The card in front of her plate read “Pryianka Chopra Jonas” instead of “Priyanka.” That tiny error sparked a wave of disappointment among her followers.
