Love Aaj Kal trailer: Imtiaz Ali reboots his 2009 release

In 2009, Imtiaz Ali directed a film titled Love Aaj Kal which starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The film was set in two eras and showcased that how the style of romance had changed, but the love was still pure.

Now, after 11 years, Imtiaz Ali has again directed a film titled Love Aaj Kal, and it stars Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. The trailer of the film has been released and it looks like Ali has just rebooted the 2009 release and has changed the eras to tell a similar story.

Maddock Films took to Twitter to share the trailer. They tweeted, “1990 se lekar 2020 tak, pyaar same hai, bas andaaz alag hai. #LoveAajKal https://bit.ly/LAKTrailer @TheAaryanKartik #SaraAliKhan #ImtiazAli #DineshVijan @WeAreWSF @jiostudios @JioCinema @RelianceEnt @Shibasishsarkar @RandeepHooda @ipritamofficial @sonymusicindia @iamarushisharma.”

The trailer is strictly average and it lacks the Imtiaz Ali touch in it. We surely expected a lot from the trailer and let’s hope that the film turns out to be good. Kartik Aaryan is quite good in the trailer and it is something totally different from what he has done in his previous film. Sara Ali Khan fails to impress, but another female lead, Arushi Sharma leaves a mark.

In the trailer, we also get to hear the recreated version of the songs Twist and Aahun Aahun from the 2009 release Love Aaj Kal. The music of Saif and Deepika starrer is still loved by the audiences, so we hope that the recreated versions don't ruin the original tracks.

Also starring Randeep Hooda, Love Aaj Kal is slated to release on 14th February 2020.

If you feel like dental care is getting more expensive and harder to access, you’re not imagining it. A growing number of people in the UK are now turning to DIY dentistry, not by choice, but because they feel they have no other option.
