Here's why Sanjay Dutt can’t do Munna Bhai Chale America?

Everyone is delighted that superstar Sanjay Dutt is finally making a comeback to films with action-thriller Bhoomi after serving his 5-years-long jail sentence in connection with the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts.

But more than Bhoomi, the audience is waiting to see him as the genially lovable Tapori in the third instalment of his iconic film franchise, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

Way before Dutt went behind the bars, the makers of Munna Bhai series had released a teaser. Titled Munna Bhai Chale America, the teaser was showcased as the sneak peek of the third part of series.

Recently, during a promotional event of Bhoomi, when the actor was asked if the next instalment of Munna Bhai series will be as per the teaser of Munna Bhai Chale America, Sanjay said, "No, I don't think so. Since I can't get an American Visa, it's not going to happen.”

When the actor was asked if he had has any discussions with the makers as to when the film may start rolling, he said, "As far as I know from the conversations with Raju Ji and Vinod Ji, scripting is going on right now. As soon as they finish shooting for the biopic (Sanjay Dutt Biopic), Raju Ji will start working on the script himself. And I am hoping by everyone's wishes and God's grace, the film will be ready by next year.”
