Fan Club Of The Week

Romantic serial Naamkarann struck a chord with Saima Dandekar from Mumbai and Kashish from Odisha so much they decided to dedicate a fan club to it. They regularly do updates about the show along with the lead stars Aditi Rathore and Zain Imam. Eastern Eye caught up with them to find out more.

What made you set up the fan club?  Naamkarann is a unique serial on Star Plus. In the search for identity, this show is setting proper relationship goals. After the leap, the focus was mainly upon the lead characters Avni and Neil. Lovingly we call them AvNeil. Their chemistry, understanding, faith and nascent love compelled us to create a page to support them for this show unconditionally.  Tell us about your fan club.

The fan club is purely dedicated to the lead pair and their paths to search for identity with compassion and love.

Everyday, we try to post news, photos, videos and various edits of the lead couple. Different segments of Naamkarann with detailed links are also shared. At weekends different video mixes and amazing fun games are conducted.

What has been your most memorable moment

Many times Zain and Aditi had taken my (Saima) name due to my gifts they loved. When Aditi opened the gifts, she even said that it was the first gift she had received from a fan. Aditi has liked our posts on Instagram. I was overwhelmed with her gestures. It gives us pleasure when Aditi and Zain recognise our work in the form of likes or ReTweets.

What do you like best about Aditi Rathore and Zain Imam?

Zain and Aditi have a good chemistry not only onscreen, but off screen too. The off screen bonding is so friendly and refreshing that it reflects their down to earth nature. Their many off screen interviews compel us to call them as AdiZa lovingly. They love their fans and we respect them a lot.

What is your favourite thing they have done?

Zain and Aditi are nice souls. We like everything they do, especially making us feel like extended family by connecting with us. Both of them like our posts, share photos from sets and also connect with us fans on social media.

What is your definition of a true fan?

A true fan supports the actor and also accepts the truth. Criticism in a storyline will be taken in a positive way by a true  fan even if the favourite actors are part of  the show.
