Aamir Khan to work on two projects together?

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is generally known for working on one project at a time. After the failure of his last movie Thugs Of Hindostan (2018), Khan announced that he would next work on the official remake of Hollywood biggie Forrest Gump (1994), which has been titled Laal Singh Chaddha in Hindi.

While Laal Singh Chaddha is yet to mount the shooting floor, reports have started surfacing that Aamir Khan will be working on one more project along with the Forrest Gump remake. Titled Uncle Ji, the movie will be made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.

“Normally, Aamir only does one project at a time. Even when he was working on Dangal (2016) as well as Secret Superstar (2017), he made sure that Dangal rolled first and was wrapped before work on Secret Superstar was complete. He wants to be on the top of things and ensure that creativity and marketing plans are in place when the project is mounted and rolled. So, it remains to be seen how he manages to work on both Laal Singh Chaddha as well as Uncle Ji,” a source in the know told an Indian daily.

Set to begin production in October, Laal Singh Chaddha will be helmed by Advait Chandan. The film will release in 2020.
