Ankit Mohan signs Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 3

Young and talented television actor Ankit Mohan has been roped in to play an important role in Naagin 3. Produced by Indian television czarina Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Telefilms, Naagin 3 is the third season of her hugely popular fantasy-drama series, Naagin, which airs on Colors.

Ankit kicked off his career with MTV Roadies (Season 4) and then went on to act in a series of popular Indian dailies, including Miley Jab Hum Tum, Mahabharat, Kumkum Bhagya and Begusarai. The actor has also acted in Shahid Kapoor’s popular film, Mausam, which also had Sonam Kapoor in the lead role.


The actor was last seen in Begusarai on &TV. Naagin 3 will mark his comeback to the television space after a long time and we hope that he succeeds in leaving a long-lasting impression on his viewers’ mind.

Besides Ankit Mohan, Naagin 3 features an ensemble star cast which includes many popular television actors such as Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri, Karishma Tanna, Pavitra Punia, Rakshanda Khan, Anita Hassanandani, and Rajat Tokas.

Naagin 3 is expected to go on-air in the second quarter of 2018.

The controversy around Sarke Chunar has taken another turn, with Nora Fatehi scheduled to appear before the National Commission for Women (NCW) after being summoned over the song’s alleged portrayal of women.

The track, featured in the Kannada film KD The Devil, sparked criticism after the Hindi version was released online in March. Complaints over the song’s lyrics and visuals led to growing backlash, prompting the makers to later remove the Hindi version from YouTube. Despite this, clips of the song continued circulating across social media platforms.
