Welcome 3 set to roll in 2019

If you couldn't stop yourself from laughing out loud after watching Welcome and its sequel Welcome Back, then get set to laugh even louder as the makers of the super successful franchise are coming up with its next instalment, Welcome 3, if reports are to be believed.

Buzz has it that Welcome 3 will mount the shooting floor next year and Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal will return to reprise their respective roles in the third part as well. However, Welcome 3 will not be helmed by Anees Bazmee. A new director will come on-board to take the franchise forward.

"Anil will continue to play Majnu, Nana returns as Uday Shetty while Paresh plays Dr Ghunghroo. While the first two instalments were more about comedy, this one will have action in equal measure. Locations are currently being finalised with shooting schedules also being planned in Tokyo and Osaka," reveals a well-placed source.

"They have approached Oscar-winning German composer Hans Zimmer for the background score," adds the source.

While Welcome had Akshay Kumar in the lead role, Welcome Back was headlined by John Abraham. Now, we are very much excited to see who the makers cast for Welcome 3.

  • Dhee hopes to release more albums and perform more frequently in the years ahead

A song shaped by reflection rather than intention

For Dhee, Vari Vari was not born out of a deliberate attempt to move in a new direction. Instead, it arrived during a period of reflection that naturally began influencing the music she was making. Speaking exclusively, the singer described how many of her recent songs have mirrored experiences unfolding in her own life, making them feel more personal than planned.

That emotional undercurrent eventually found its way into Vari Vari. Conversations with lyricist Vivek (Vivek Anna) slowly shaped the track, which grew from discussions around love and human connection. Rather than following a formula, the song evolved organically and became a reflection of thoughts she had already been carrying.
