Television heartthrob Nitin Goswami, who rose to instant fame after playing the male lead on the popular &TV show Siddhi Vinayak, has been missing from the scene ever since his last show ended its run on the channel.

Reportedly, Nitin Goswami has been signed on to play an important role in an ongoing show called Gathbandhan. Produced by Jay Mehta Productions, the show airs on one of the leading general entertainment channels, Colors.

According to reports, Nitin will be seen as the lead antagonist on the show. The actor will play the character of a senior officer who is hell-bent on giving a tough time to the female lead of the show.

Gathbandhan is headlined by Shruti Sharma and Abrar Qazi in the lead roles. It started its run on 15th January 2019 and has been doing pretty well on TRP charts.

Anoushka Shankar has called out Air India after discovering her sitar badly cracked when she opened the case after a recent flight. She posted a video online showing the split running across the lower end of the instrument. The clip raised quick questions about how the airline handled it, especially since she said she paid the handling fee and used the same protective cases she always travels with.

Shankar said it was her first time choosing Air India in years, and that made the discovery harder to accept. She added that the sitar had travelled safely for more than a decade on other carriers without even a peg slipping.
