The Sky Is Pink: When Priyanka Chopra’s performance made Nick Jonas cry

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot last year in December and the two have been giving us a lot of couple goals. Their social media PDA surely make us go aww… The actress is all set for her Bollywood comeback with Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink and the film will be premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.

PeeCee and Shonali are at the TIFF and recently while talking to publication there, the latter revealed that how Priyanka’s performance made her hubby Nick Jonas cry. While talking about preparing for her wedding during the shooting of the film, the actress revealed, "I was filming The Sky Is Pink till four days before my wedding and Nick was on set. We were doing prep for the wedding on set and my co-producers and Shonali, they were so accommodating.”


Shonali added, "We had told (Nick) to come at the end because we were doing some champagne and cake for them, but he came a little early and we were out in the dark and (Priyanka) was doing a very, very intense scene and I heard a sniff and I suddenly turned and there was Nick standing next to me and he was just crying.”

Well, there’s no doubt that Priyanka is a great performer and we simply can’t wait to watch her on the big screen.

The Sky Is Pink also stars Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar. The actress recently shared a still of the film. She captioned it as, “Made with love and so much more! #TheSkyIsPink ? Stay tuned... @faroutakhtar @zairawasim_ @rohitsaraf10 @shonalibose_ #RonnieScrewvala @rsvpmovies #SiddharthRoyKapur @roykapurfilms @purplepebblepictures #SKGlobal.”

The Sky Is Pink is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed from pulmonary fibrosis. While Zaira Wasim will be seen as Aisha, Priyanka plays the role her mother Aditi Chaudhary in the film. The movie is slated to hit the screens on 11th October 2019.
