Katrina Kaif was last seen on the big screen in Bharat this year. Her next release will be Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi in which she has teamed up with Akshay Kumar after a gap of a decade.
According to a report in a tabloid, recently, Rohit Shetty came on the show No Filter Neha with Neha Dhupia and revealed that Katrina Kaif plays the role of a doctor in Sooryavanshi. While talking about the actress, Shetty also revealed that she asks a lot of questions.
Rohit said, “She asks a lot of questions... Is this okay, is this right? I tell her that she’s beautiful, but after a point, I just switch off.”
Well, Rohit’s movies don’t have a great role for female leads, but let’s hope that Katrina has a meaty role to play in Sooryavanshi.
The filmmaker is known for making blockbuster movies and all his films have minted a lot of money at the box office. Talking about making big commercial films, he said, “People say that I make commercial films and that I’m a money-spinner but ever since I turned producer, I’ve realised that I’d have incurred huge losses if my films hadn’t crossed the Rs 150 crore mark.”
“From the first day of scripting to the night before the film’s release, my team knows that I can change anything, so they are always on their toes,” Rohit added.
Talking about Sooryavanshi, the film is slated to release on 27th March 2020. Katrina and Akshay will be seen shaking a leg on the recreated version of the song Tip Tip Barsa Paani and we are super excited to watch their chemistry on the big screen.
