Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to tie the nuptial knot today. Ranbir's mother, Neetu Kapoor, and sister Riddhima Kapoor, confirmed the same on Wednesday, saying the wedding will indeed take place on Thursday at Vastu apartments in Mumbai.

As the wedding ceremonies started on Wednesday with mehndi, Neetu Kapoor took a trip down memory lane and shared her own engagement photo with Rishi Kapoor ahead of her son’s wedding. Wedding Guests

Such celebrities as Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, Masaba Gupta, Varun Dhawan, Ayan Mukerji, Arjun Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Akansha Ranjan, and Anushka Ranjan are set to attend the high-profile wedding. Several members of the Kapoor clan, including Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, will also attend the festivities. The wedding will be a close-knit affair, attended by family members and close friends.

Wedding Venue

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will exchange vows at Vastu apartments in the posh area of Pali Hill in Mumbai. This is the temporary residence of the couple. A marriage procession will start from the Kapoors' under construction home to Vastu.

An entertainment portal reports that Neetu Kapoor has flown in chefs from Delhi and Lucknow to prepare delicious food for guests. More than 25 vegan and vegetarian dishes, including Italian, Mexican, Punjabi, and Mughalai, will be available for guests.

Talking about the security arrangements, Alia Bhatt’s brother Rahul Bhatt told the same publication, "Yusuf Bhai has taken over the security of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding. He has Mumbai’s best security force 9/11 Agency. He has been hired for the same job. Around 200 bouncers have been called from this agency. 10 boys from my team will also be sent. "
