Parineeti Chopra starrer The Girl On The Train starts rolling, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari join the cast

Emily Blunt starrer 2016 release The Girl On The Train is being remade in Hindi with Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. The shooting of the film kickstarted today in London and the makers took to Twitter to inform everyone about it.

Shibashish Sharma, the group CEO of Reliance Entertainment, tweeted, “Start of a journey !! All the best !!  @ribhudasgupta @ParineetiChopra @aditiraohydari @IamKirtiKulhari @RelianceEnt.” To this director, Ribhu Dasgupta replied, “Hopping on to a train ride today with @ParineetiChopra .. Soon to be joined by @aditiraohydari @IamKirtiKulhari @avinashtiw85 Thank you @Shibasishsarkar @RelianceEnt @amblin #TheGirlOnTheTrain.”


While earlier, the makers had only announced Parineeti Chopra’s name from the cast, it has now been revealed that Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary (Laila Majnu fame) have joined the cast of the movie.

While talking about the film Parineeti had earlier said, "I am super excited to be shooting this film because this is a role that I have never experienced before, read before and I think the audience has never experienced this kind of acting piece from me... So I am excited as an actor to do something completely new."

"For me to remain in the mood and for the crew to remain in the flow of things we decided to shoot this film in one schedule in England. We will be going in July," the actress added.

Parineeti will next be seen on the big screen in Jabariya Jodi which is slated to release on 9th August 2019. The actress also has some other interesting films in her kitty like Saina Nehwal biopic, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and Bhuj: The Pride of India.

Talking about Aditi Rao Hydari, her last Bollywood release was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Padmaavat in which she played the role of Mehrunisa, wife of Alauddin Khilji. Meanwhile, Kirti Kulhari will next be seen on the big screen in Mission Mangal which hits the screens on 15th August 2019.
