My playlist with DJ Kizzi

BORN and raised in London, DJ Kizzi has shown off incredible skills on the decks and lit up events with her marvelous music. She has appeared on BBC Radio regularly and hosts her own show on Rukus Avenue Radio, which means she is constantly surrounded by the biggest tracks. Eastern Eye got DJ Kizzi to select 10 songs she loves.

Heer by Jags Klimax: It always gets the party started and brings energy to any room. No matter how many times I listen to it, I always love it. When I play this at a club, it levates the fervour and is a must for any desi party.

She Doesn’t Mind by Sean Paul: I love this song so much because it reminds me of my summer parties as a kid, dancing around the BBQ until food was ready. Growing up listening to Sean Paul has made a huge influence on the party songs that I love and dance to.

One Dance by Drake: This song is one of my all-time favourites and is such a bop. It puts everyone in an instant good mood and the chorus is so addictive. It really is one of those songs you listen to twice and already know all the words of. It will be a song always remembered from this decade just gone.

Knock You Down by Keri Hilson: For me, this song is a classic. I grew up vibing to this song, and it will never get old for me. Every time this song is played at a party, I know it’s going to be a good night. This is one of those treasures from the 2000s.

Difference by Amrit Maan: This is the Punjabi song of the century for me. The beat is contagious. I can listen to this song anytime of the day, and it puts me in a party mood. I love it.

Nobody Else But You by Trey Songz: It is such a vibe. The perfect balance between right in the feels and feel-good. His voice is so amazing. This has got to be one of my favourite r’n’b songs of all time.

You Da One by Rihanna: Old school Rihanna forever. I love this song: the lyrics, beat, everything. Every time this song plays it puts me in a smiley mood and reminds me of being on a holiday drinking cocktails.

Dil Luteya by Jazzy B: This song will be a bhangra classic forever. It has got such a good beat and is so catchy. When I play this at a club, I always bring down the fader during the chorus and the crowd sings it to me – best feeling ever.

Gora Gora by Panjabi MC: This song is a bop and appealing. It’s easily one of my favourite bhangra songs, especially, how it’s got that little rap that makes it fiery. This song will always be at the top of my playlist.

Replay by Iyaz: This song is the best thing to ever come out of the recent decades and will forever be a number that everyone knows. I listen to it everywhere, even in the gym. When this plays at a party, everyone is in such an amazing mood. It’s the best.

Is Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's move to London about their children?

Virat Kohli is having another stellar IPL season, racking up runs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. But off the field, the chatter isn't just about cricket. It's about his and Anushka Sharma's decision to move to London. The couple, who welcomed their second child Akaay last year, have been spotted frequently in the UK, sparking rumours of a permanent shift. Now, those close to them have confirmed the move, citing their desire for a quieter, more private life for their children.
