A number of women working in Pakistan’s entertainment industry have come forward accusing actor-singer Ali Zafar of sexually harassing them. In a lengthy tweet on Thursday (19), singer Meesha Shafi said that she had been subjected to harassment of a “physical nature” at the hands of Zafar on multiple occasions. “Sharing this because I believe that by speaking out about my own experience of sexual harassment, I will break the culture of silence that permeates through our society.
