Martin Bashir is on Celebrity X Factor

Broadcast journalist Martin Bashir is among the famous faces taking part on Celebrity X Factor, it was revealed last week.
His involvement in the show is very different from anything he has done in his career so far.
"This is outside of my comfort zone," said Bashir.
Bashir, who is famous for his interview with the late Princess Diana and his documentary with King of Pop Michael Jackson, will have to impress X Factor judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.
Other famous faces include former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole, 90s talk-show host Ricki Lake, rugby players Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis,TOWIE's Megan McKenna, model Hayley Hasselhoff, EastEnders actor Jonny Labey, Love Actually star Olivia Olson and Glee actor Kevin McHale among others.
The new format and will see contestants battle it out in Los Angeles before live shows in London.

Diagnosis kept private during treatment

TV doctor Punam Krishan has revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer five months ago and has now completed her treatment.

The Glasgow-born GP, 42, shared the news in an Instagram post alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed, saying she is now healing but remains emotionally shaken by the experience.
