Krrish franchise is close to my heart, says Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan is currently basking in the huge success of his recent release War (2019), also starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. Released on 2nd October, 2019, the movie has been doing phenomenal business ever since hitting the silver screen. It has already crossed Rs. 250 crore and is now aiming to zoom past the coveted 300 crore club.

After War, Hrithik Roshan has not confirmed any new movie. However, rumours are rife that he might start working on the fourth instalment of the Krrish franchise. Recently, the superstar spoke about Krrish 4 too. His father Rakesh Roshan is currently working on the script of the film.

“This franchise is close to our heart, so, when my father was not keeping well, we decided to put it aside for a while. Now, he has recovered and is raring to go. So, we have started brainstorming and have begun work on the film,” said Hrithik Roshan.

We also hear that Rakesh Roshan will not direct Krrish 4. He has reportedly roped in filmmaker Sanjay Gupta to helm the fourth instalment of the film. However, there has not been any official confirmation on the same. More details are awaited.

Hrithik Roshan is also rumoured to be joining forces with choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan for the official remake of cult film Satte Pe Satte (1982), originally starring Amitabh Bachchan Hema Malini.
