Kriti Kharbanda in comic-caper Housefull 4

Actress Kriti Kharbanda, who was last seen in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana (2017), has, reportedly, been signed for Sajid Nadiadwala’s keenly-awaited film Housefull 4. The multi-starrer comic flick already stars Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Kharbanda will be the third female lead in the comic-caper.

As the name suggests itself, Housefull 4 is the next instalment of the super successful comedy film franchise, Housefull, which began in 2010 with the release of its first instalment, Housefull. Its sequel, Housefull 2, released in 2012 and turned out to be a bigger hit than its predecessor, leading its makers to commence work on the third instalment, Housefull 3, which came in 2016.

The latest instalment will be helmed by Sajid Khan, who directed Housefull and Housefull 2 before getting replaced by Sajid-Farhad for the third instalment of the series. The project is, reportedly, being mounted on a lavish scale as it will be set in two different eras.

If all goes well, Housefull 4 will mount the shooting floor in July. The makers are planning to shoot the film in London and India. We also hear that an international team has come on-board to render world-class VFX services to the makers.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his moviemaking banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 4 is set to release in 3D on Diwali, next year.
