Interesting biopics to look forward to this year

Every year we get to see many biopics and most of them turn out to be a hit at the box office. This year too we have already seen two biopics on the big screen, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi and Thackeray. In the coming months also, we will witness some of the most interesting biopics on the silver screens.

PM Narendra Modi


After facing a lot of issues with its release date, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s biopic, PM Narendra Modi will be finally hitting the screens on 24th May 2019. The movie stars Vivek Oberoi in the lead role and it is directed by Omung Kumar.

Super 30

Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 is a biopic on Mathematician Anand Kumar. The movie, which is directed by Vikas Bahl, will hit the screens on 26th July 2019.

Jhund

Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund, which is directed by Sairat fame director Nagraj Manjule, is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of NGO Slum Soccer. The movie is slated to release on 20th September 2019.

The Sky Is Pink

Priyanka Chopra’s Bollywood comeback film The Sky Is Pink is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. Zaira Wasim plays the role of Aisha in the film.

Saand Ki Aankh

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh is all set to hit the screens on Diwali this year. The movie is a biopic on sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar.

Shakeela

After Silk Smitha, it’s time to witness the biopic of one more South siren. We are talking about Shakeela. Richa Chadha plays the titular role and we are sure she will be amazing in it.

Seoul concert marks return after long break

BTS returned to the stage in Seoul as they opened their world tour, drawing thousands of fans to a stadium near the capital.

The group’s first major tour performance in nearly four years took place in heavy rain, but the venue, which holds more than 40,000 people, was filled as fans waited for their comeback show. The concert signals a full return to touring after a long gap in their career.
