Husnn Hai Suhaana from Coolie No.1: Varun and Sara are good, but the magic of Govinda and Karisma is missing

Coolie No. 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan is all set to get a direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video. The film is a remake of 1995 release Coolie No. 1 and two songs from the original film, Husnn Hai Suhaana, and Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha, have been recreated in the remake.

After the trailer and the song Teri Bhabhi, the makers of the film have now released the recreated version of the song Husnn Hai Suhaana. Varun took to Instagram to share the track. He posted, “HUSNN HAU SUHAANA new The year ended banger is here??? our fun tribute to the 90’s @saraalikhan95 #DavidDhawan #VashuBhagnani @jackkybhagnani @deepshikhadeshmukh #AnandMilind @chandana_dixit_official @abhijeetbhattacharya @tips @pooja_ent @tanishk_bagchi #sameer.”

The original song was composed by Anand Milind and it has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. The makers have used the original vocals of Chandana Dixit and Abhijeet Bhattacharya for the recreated track.

Well, it’s not a bad song, and even Varun and Sara are good in it. But the magic that Govinda and Karisma had created with their chemistry, dance moves and expressions, that’s missing here. The song also features Shikha Talsania and we get to see a small glimpse of her in it.

Directed by David Dhawan, Coolie No. 1 is slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 25th December 2020.

The incident comes as India and the United States continue trade negotiations. Jaiswal confirmed an Indian team travelled to Washington DC for talks, describing discussions as "ongoing and constructive."
