RECORD-BREAKING superstar Prabhas has won over fans around the world with his magnificent presence in high-profile blockbuster films, and looks set to continue his


incredible momentum with forthcoming movie Saaho.

A group of friends from different corners of India collectively run a fan club dedicated to the man affectionately known as rebel star.

Eastern Eye caught up with them to find out more.

What made you set up the fan club?

We created @TrendsPrabhas to explore the fan phenomenon connected to our idol and to help broaden that horizon further.

We are here to unite our fans along with celebrating every update about Prabhas and his films.

Tell us your memorable moment?

Being able to connect to more and more Prabhas’ fans throughout India and getting appreciation has been memorable for us.

What is the best thing you like about your idol?

He pours his heart and soul into every character he portrays and that makes his every work a favourite for us. Apart from his fabulous movies, his donations to the needy makes us

feel proud of him.

What is your favourite work Prabhas has done?

His reel heroics and real-life heroics make him our inspirational idol.

Tell us an interesting fact about your idol?

He loves playing volleyball and also would like to venture into the farming business after quitting movies.

What is your definition of a true fan?

A true fan shouldn’t be like a shadow of his idol, rather he should be like a believer of the one he admires and should support them.

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has shared a lengthy Instagram post about The Devil Wears Prada 2, calling it a powerful commentary on how journalism and print media face tough times today.
The 53-year-old watched the sequel and connected deeply with its themes.

Writing on social media, Johar expressed how the original film stayed close to his heart.

He grew to love Meryl Streep's character Miranda Priestly even more after the first movie, despite her demanding nature and elite standards. Her drive for perfection resonated with him.
