Ekta Kapoor planning to remake Khoon Bhari Maang for Colors?

Speculations are rife that producer Ekta Kapoor, often referred to as the czarina of Indian television, is gearing up to remake actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan’s blockbuster film, Khoon Bhari Maang (1988).

Toplined by Rekha, Kabir Bedi and Shatrughan Sinha, the revenge thriller is remembered for its riveting performances and great music. It still remains one of the most successful female-lead movies of all times.

According to reports, Ekta is planning to adapt the movie as a television series for leading GEC Colors. She is also producing the next season of supernatural series Kavach for the same network.

Talking about the title and the star cast of the television version of Khoon Bhari Maang, there is no update as of now.

An official announcement is awaited.
