Ekta casts Karan Singh Grover to play Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay

After a long search and flipping through hundreds of profiles, television czarina Ekta Kapoor has finally found her Mr Bajaj. According to reports, Kapoor has signed heartthrob Karan Singh Grover to play the iconic character in her ongoing soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Karan, who has been away from television for quite a long time now, has the huge responsibility of filling the mighty shoes of seasoned actor Ronit Roy who played Mr Bajaj in the first season of the series.

Actress Hina Khan, who was playing the character of Komolika on Kasautii Zindagii Kay, quit the show recently to follow her Bollywood dreams. We are sure that Karan Singh Grover’s entry will push the show to the top slot again.

The actor was last seen on television in Gul Khan’s successful show Qubool Hai. He quit the show and made a crossover to Bollywood. It will be interesting to see how successful his second inning in telly-world turns out to be.

Apart from Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Karan Singh Grover will also be seen in an upcoming Hindi film called Aadat Diaries. The movie marks the second onscreen collaboration between Singh and his wife Bipasha Basu after the 2015 horror flick Alone.
