Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and many other actors have their own production houses and nowadays they only star in films that are produced by them. But well, even our actresses are not behind. There are many Bollywood leading ladies who have their own production houses.

So, today, let’s look at the list of Bollywood actresses who are also successful producers…

Juhi Chawla

Juhi Chawla ruled the big screen in the late 80s and 90s, and she is one of the few actresses of her era who is still active and impressing us with her performances in the movies. Well, apart from being a fantastic actress, Juhi is also a successful producer. She has backed films like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Asoka, and Chalte Chalte.

Twinkle Khanna

After a not so great career as an actress, Twinkle Khanna turned her ways towards writing and she also produced many films that starred her husband Akshay Kumar. Twinkle has produced films like Tees Maar Khan, Thank You, PadMan, and others.

Pooja Bhatt

Pooja Bhatt has been away from the big screen for the past two decades. But well, she wasn’t away from Bollywood as she has been busy producing and directing movies. Bhatt has produced movies like Tamanna, Dushman, Zakhm, Jism, Paap, Jism 2, and others.

Anushka Sharma

While the actresses from the 90s have proved their mettle as a producer, our current generation actresses are also not behind. Anushka Sharma is one of the first actresses of this generation to start her own production house. She has produced successful films like NH10, Phillauri, and Pari.

Priyanka Chopra

Our Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is undoubtedly one of the most successful actresses of Bollywood. But apart from being a great actress, PeeCee is also a successful producer. To date, she has only produced one Bollywood film The Sky Is Pink, but she has backed many regional films like Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi (Bhojpuri), Ventilator (Marathi), and others.

Well, this year, even Deepika Padukone made her debut as a producer with Chhapaak, but the film failed to make a mark at the box office. However, we are sure Deepika will prove her mettle as a producer in the future. Even Kangana has started her own production house named Manikarnika Films. We wait to see the content the actress will be backing.
