Arjun Kapoor tests negative for COVID-19

On 6th September 2020, Arjun Kapoor had shared on social media that he has been tested positive for COVID-19. And now, after around one month, the actor has been tested negative.

Today, Arjun took to social media to inform his fans that he has been tested negative. The actor shared a note which read, “Hi! I’m happy to report that I have tested negative to coronavirus over the weekend. I’m feeling better after making a full recovery and excited to return to work. Thank you everyone for your good wishes and positivity. This virus is serious so I request everyone to take it seriously. People should understand that coronavirus affects everyone - young and old. So, please WEAR a MASK at all times! Thank you BMC for your support and help and a huge salute to all the frontline workers who are risking everything to take care of us. We are forever indebted to you guys.”


Before being tested positive for COVID-19, Arjun was shooting for his next untitled film which also stars Rakul Preet Singh, John Abraham, and Aditi Rao Hydari. The shooting of the film was stalled after the actor’s reports came positive.

Well, after Arjun was tested positive, his girlfriend, Malaika Arora was also tested positive for COVID-19, and later she was tested negative after 14 days. Malaika has also started shooting for her TV show India’s Best Dancer.

The studio is launching two newcomers in Bollywood after what’s being called its largest-ever talent hunt, which spanned more than 500 auditions from across India. The aim, insiders say, is to find raw, authentic performers, not familiar surnames.
