Abhishek Bachchan’s character in Amazon Prime Original Breathe 2 revealed

When Amazon Prime Video released its web-series Breathe in January, 2018, no one had thought that it would go on to garner so much love and appreciation from all over the world. After the huge success of the R. Madhavan and Amit Sadh starrer, the makers did not waste any time and announced Breathe 2.

While Breathe had charming R. Madhavan headlining the cast, Breathe 2 stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. The show will mark the digital debut of Junior Bachchan, something the Manmarziyan (2018) actor is quite excited about.


Besides Abhishek Bachchan, Breathe 2 also features Amit Sadh, Sapna Pabbi, Hrishikesh Joshi, Atharva Vishwakarma and Neena Kulkarni in important roles. Mirzya (2016) actress Saiyami Kher is also making her digital debut with the show.

According to sources, Abhishek Bachchan is playing the character of a psychiatrist on Breathe 2. The actor has played a variety of roles in his career, but this will be the first time when he plays a psychiatrist. This surely sounds interesting.

The shoot for Breathe 2 is over. The makers are expected to announce the premiere date of the new season soon. Besides Abhishek Bachchan, Amazon Prime Video is also launching Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in the digital world. The superstar is making his digital debut with a series tentatively titled The End.

On the film front, Abhishek Bachchan is currently shooting for an Anurag Basu directorial, which is yet to lock its official title.
