The Coronavirus outbreak, which emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan last December, has affected everyone in one way or the other. To fight the pandemic, several countries across the world have resorted to complete lockdowns, which has crippled all types of businesses as shoppers desert the street. In India alone, millions of people have lost livelihood and are facing hunger.
To help those in dire need, a number of celebrities have come forward and donated generously. There is a long list of Bollywood celebs who have lent their helping hand in these trying times by making huge donations to Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund).

While Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been vocal about their contribution to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic in India, Aamir Khan has reportedly chosen not to publicise his relief aid to the government. According to reports, Mr. Perfectionist has decided to be silent in assisting with the PM Cares Fund.
A popular tabloid reports that the superstar has already made his contribution towards the PM Cares Fund. Not only that, he has also donated to cine-workers’ associations and a few NGOs along with extending support to the daily wage workers of his next film, Lal Singh Chaddha during this lockdown.
Last seen in Yash Raj Films’ Thugs of Hindostan (2018), Aamir Khan will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. The much-awaited movie is an official remake of superhit Hollywood film Forrest Gump (1994), starring legendary actor Tom Hanks in the title role.
