2. Gokarna
Gokarna is a small temple town located between Western Ghats and Arabian sea. Previosuly known for its famous Mahabaleshwar Temple, Gokarna gained popularity for its secluded and laid back beaches such as Gokarna Beach, Kudle Beach, Om Beach, Half Moon Beach and Paradise Beach. October to March would be the best time to visit beaches in Gokarna. Some beaches in Gokarna are so secluded that they are only accessible either by trek or by a boat. Other than Mahabaleshwar Temple, Gokarna is famous for ancient temples such as, Maha Ganapathi Temple, Uma Maheshwara Temple , Bhadrakali Temple, and others.
3. Andaman and Nicobar

Andaman and Nicobar Islands are located about 1,000 kilometers away from India’s East Coast and in the Bay of Bengal. The beaches in Visakhapatanam (Vizag) are either peaceful or bustling with festive atmosphere. You can find surfing spots along its seashore. 5. Pondicherry

Promenade beach or Pondicherry beach is the famous stretch of beachfront in the city of Pondicherry along the Bay of Bengal. Pondicherry beach is a 1.2-kilometre long stretch which begins from War Memorial and ends at Dupleix Park on the Goubert Avenue. Paradise beach and Auroville beach are the most popular beaches in Pondicherry. Serenity beach is fairly offbeat and Promenade beach is more for strolling and Promenade Road as the seawalls make it impossible to swim in. Quiet beach and Auroville beach are some other beaches that you can visit.
