5 Bollywood real-life jodis who starred together in films after getting married

When two actors get married usually their love stories go like this way; they meet on a set of the film, spend some time, fall in love and finally walk down the aisle. Their real-life too is just like the romance that we see on the big screen. While their love story starts with a film, many actors prefer that after getting married they should not star in a film together.

However, there are many actors who have starred together in a movie even after tying the knot…

Amitabh Bachchan – Jaya Bachchan

Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan got married in 1973. After their wedding, the two starred together in movies like Silsila, Mili, Sholay, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Ki & Ka. Their funny chemistry in Ki & Ka was one of the highlights of the film. We hope to see them together on the big screen soon.

Abhishek Bachchan – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Following the footsteps of his parents, Abhishek Bachchan also continued working with wifey Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after their wedding in 2007. The two starred together in movies like Sarkar Raj and Raavan after tying the knot. Abhishek and Aishwarya were all set to star in a movie titled Gulab Jamun this year, but reportedly the film has been put on a backburner.

Ajay Devgn – Kajol

Ajay Devgn and Kajol tied the knot in 1999. They took a long gap before starring a film together once again in 2008 release U Me Aur Hum which was directed by Ajay himself. In 2010, they collaborated once again for a film titled Toonpur Ka Super Hero. Now next year we will get to see them on the big screen in Taanaji: The Unsung Hero.

Bipasha Basu – Karan Singh Grover

Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover met on the sets of the film Alone and love blossomed between them. The two are all set to reunite on the big screen again for a movie titled Aadat. The film will mark Bipasha’s comeback after a gap of four years.

Ranveer Singh – Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have starred together in films like Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. In all three films, the two never officially get married, but well, now after tying the knot in real-life, Deepika and Ranveer will be seen on the big screen as husband and wife in Kabir Khan’s ’83. Ranveer will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev and Deepika will portray the character of Romi Dev.

  • The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is in crisis talks, extending its decision deadline to December 2025.
  • The situation draws direct comparisons to Russia’s exclusion in 2022, creating a precedent the EBU must now navigate.
  • The core dilemma pits Eurovision’s non-political ideals against the stark reality of a humanitarian crisis.

The Eurovision Song Contest, that glitter-drenched annual spectacle of pop and unity, is staring into the abyss. The escalating call for a Eurovision boycott over Israel's participation, against the backdrop of the ongoing Gaza conflict, has put the organisers into their most severe political crisis yet. This isn't just about another song entry but a fundamental clash between the contest's cherished apolitical fantasy and the inescapable geopolitics of the real world, threatening to tear the competition apart from within.
