Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi gets a new release date

One film that everyone is quite keen to watch on the big screen is the biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Titled PM Narendra Modi, the movie stars Vivek Oberoi in the lead role and has been in news since its inception. The film was supposed to hit the screens in April this year, but the Election Commission had put a halt on the release of the movie due to Lok Sabha elections in India. But finally, now the movie has got its new release date.

PM Narendra Modi will be hitting the screens on 24th May 2019. The producer of the film, Sandip Ssingh said, “As a responsible citizen we respect the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and keeping the curiosity and excitement about the film in mind we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results. We are now releasing our film on 24th May 2019. This is the first time a film will be promoted for only four days. I hope now nobody has any problem with the film and we are hoping for the smooth release this time.”


Apart from Vivek Oberoi, PM Narendra Modi also stars Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Ramakant Dayma, Akshat R Saluja, Jimesh Patel, and Darshan Kumaar. The film is directed by Omung Kumar who has earlier helmed movies like Mary Kom, Sarbjit and others.

‘Most sexualised profession’: Kangana raises concern over perception of nurses

Ahead of the release of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has said that nursing remains one of the most misunderstood and sexualised professions.

Speaking to ANI, Ranaut said nurses do not receive the dignity and recognition they deserve despite their crucial role in healthcare. She described nursing as “the most sexualised profession” and said they are often overworked, underpaid and overlooked.
