Sunil Grover denies rejoining the team of The Kapil Sharma Show

Earlier this week, reports emerged that well-known stand-up comedian Sunil Grover might return to the cast of Sony Entertainment Television’s popular non-fiction show The Kapil Sharma Show.

It was a cryptic tweet by Grover which led people to think that he is returning to the show to play his popular characters of Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi. The ace comedian had tweeted: “Everything is going to come. Nothing is going to stay forever. So just have gratitude. That is the key. And yes, laugh a lot. Baaki … mere husband mujhko…

However, when a leading publication asked Sunil Grover if he is returning to The Kapil Sharma Show, the actor denied and said, “I don’t know why people are speculating this because my tweet does not hint anything like that. There is no truth in it at all. It is not happening. Yes, fans comment on my tweet to come back but from those comments, you cannot make it speculative news.”

He went on to add that it is irritating that these speculations arise out of nowhere. “It is all baseless and I don’t want to comment on it. It is really irritating that these speculations arise out of nowhere. So, when there is something, I myself will reveal.”

Sunil Grover was most recently seen in superstar Salman Khan’s Eid release Bharat (2019). Despite the presence and Khan and Katrina Kaif, the actor managed to stand out and leave an impression with his performance. Grover is yet to announce his next project.
