Star Plus’ Naamkarann set for a leap!

When a show starts slipping on the TRP charts, taking a leap is the first thing makers resort to. The latest show which is all set to take a leap due to falling TRPs is Mahesh Bhatt’s Naamkarann which airs on Star Plus.

Post leap, a lot is going to change in the storyline of the show as the makers are planning to introduce several new twists and turns to attract more audience and, obviously, improve dwindling ratings.

According to a source, “Naamkarann will be taking a two-year leap, where the story will see a major change, as it will happen that Juhi (Poonam Preet) will die, following which Avani (Aditi Rathore) will go to jail. And post leap, Avani will be shown in Jail whereas Neil (Zain Imam) will be the jailer.

Now, how much the audience likes the new storyline post leap is something we will have to wait to see.

Produced by Guroudev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada, Naamkarann is based on noted Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's life.
