Shahid Kapoor & Kiara Advani team up for the recreated version of iconic song Urvashi

Another hit song is going to have a recreated version very soon. We are talking about the iconic song ‘Urvashi’ from Prabhu Deva and Nagma starrer film Kadhalan (1994). The recreated version will feature Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani as a pair.

The recreated version of the song has been composed, written and sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh. To be produced by T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar, it will be choreographed by Sanjay Shetty.

Confirming the news, Shetty said, “We’ve changed the lyrics, but the hook line remains the same. The song, however, doesn’t showcase a love story but a new-age relationship between Shahid and Kiara. Even the choreography is contemporary. We are shooting on a club set in Film City. We also filmed at a parking lot on Sunday to give the video an underground kind of a feel.”

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The movie is slated to release on 21st September.

  • The merger would unite major brands including CNN, HBO, CBS, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.
  • State regulators, UK watchdogs and industry critics are still scrutinising the deal.

The proposed Paramount Skydance-Warner Bros Discovery merger has moved a step closer to reality after receiving approval from the US Department of Justice, clearing one of the biggest regulatory hurdles facing the £82.8bn ($111bn) deal.

The Paramount-Warner Bros merger, one of the largest media industry deals in recent years, would reshape the entertainment landscape by bringing together some of the world's best-known television networks, film studios and streaming businesses under a single corporate umbrella. However, despite the federal approval, the transaction remains under scrutiny in multiple jurisdictions and could still face legal challenges before it is completed.
