Shah Rukh Khan gearing up for digital debut

After Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar, yet another Bollywood superstar is gearing up to dive into the world of digital entertainment. According to reports, superstar Shah Rukh Khan has zeroed in on a thriller to make his digital debut with.

Yes, you heard that right! SRK is set to star in a political espionage thriller. Apart from playing the male lead, the superstar is also expected to produce it under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.

If sources are to be believed, the untitled series will be made for the same streaming media platform for which Khan is already making Bard Of Blood, starring Emraan Hashmi, Vineet Kumar Singh, Kirti Kulhari and Sobhita Dhulipala in lead roles.

“The series that Shah Rukh has decided to do is a thriller. Like Bard Of Blood, it will be produced by his banner. The subject has excited him so much that he has decided to not only produce it but also act in it,” reveals a source.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero (2018). After the release of the sci-fi film, he was expected to commence work on the Rakesh Sharma biopic titled Saare Jahan Se Achcha. However, the epic failure of Zero at the box-office shook up the star so much that he opted out of the biopic soon.

The superstar is yet to announce his next project thereafter.
