Sara Ali Khan wants to team up with only top stars

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan, who is making her big Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's much-awaited film Kedarnath, has been quite picky about her upcoming projects.

It has been more than four months since the debutante started shooting for her debut film Kedarnath, but she has yet not signed any other projects despite being offered so many of them.

While some industry insiders say that Abhishek Kapoor has put a restriction on her that she will not sign any other movie until Kedarnath releases in December this year, some reveal that the newcomer only wants to work with top actors and is not ready to do projects which are not bankrolled by leading banners.

A source reveals, "She wants to work with people like Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and the likes, who are doing very well at the box office. She has clearly mentioned that to her producers, that while she will want a good story, she will want a big star to work with her in her next set of films. Earlier, she was not even listening to scripts but did so at her mother Amrita Singh’s insistence. The buzz in the industry is that she wants to go the Alia Bhatt route.”

Well, if she has become so choosy even before the release of her debut film, what will happen after a few years down the line?

Also featuring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kedarnath releases on 23rd November 2018.

Liam Neeson rejects anti-vax claims after documentary narration triggers wide backlash

Highlights:

  • Liam Neeson says he is not anti-vaccine
  • The film draws on a book by Judy Mikovits
  • Neeson’s representatives stress he did not shape the film’s content
  • Clips from the documentary promote fringe vaccine theories criticised by scientists
  • The actor has long backed global immunisation through his UNICEF

Liam Neeson has stepped into a storm not of his own making, pulled in by a vaccine debate tied to a documentary controversy he only narrates. The actor’s name is now attached to Plague of Corruption, a film built on claims that scientists and medical agencies have already challenged. His team says the link is misleading, stressing that Liam Neeson remains firmly pro-vaccine and did not shape a single line of the film’s message.
