Salman Khan is all praises for Shah Rukh Khan

Remember how Shah Rukh Khan’s character in Om Shanti Om jumps into the fire and saves Deepika Padukone. Well, something similar happened recently at the Diwali party of the Bachchans. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s publicist Archana Sadanand’s outfit had caught fire and it was Shah Rukh Khan who put out the fire.

While fans of Shah Rukh Khan have been praising him for his heroic gesture, SRK’s good friend Salman Khan also is all praises for King Khan. On Instagram, Salman posted a video of SRK from the film Happy New Year and in the background, the Dabangg Khan is saying, “Hero woh hota hai jo aag mein kudke, bujhake, bachata hai (Hero is someone who jumps into fire, puts it out, and saves a life).”

While talking about the whole incident, a source had told a tabloid, “Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn’t know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire.”

Archana was taken to Nanavati Hospital and currently, she is under observation there. Well, we must say that Shah Rukh Khan’s presence of mind saved Archana’s life. We are sure she will always be thankful to King Khan.

Talking about the movies of both the actors, Salman Khan is gearing up with the release of Dabangg 3 which is slated to hit the screens on 20th December 2019. He also has Radhe in his kitty which will be hitting the screens on Eid 2020. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next movie. Reportedly, the actor will be announcing his next project on his birthday 2nd November.

You arrive in Kochi, and it feels like the sea air makes everything slightly sharper; faces in the city look purposeful, a film poster peels at the corner of a wall. In a city that has cradled a thriving film industry for decades, a single crime on the night of 17 February 2017 ruptured the ordinary: an abduction, a recorded sexual assault and a survivor who reported it the next day. What happened next is every woman’s unspoken nightmare, weaponised into brutal reality. It was a public unpeeling of an industry’s power structures, a slow-motion fight over evidence and testimony, and a national debate about how institutions protect (or fail) women.

For over eight years, her fight for justice became a mirror held up to an entire industry and a society. It was a journey from the dark confines of that car to the glaring lights of a courtroom, from being a silenced victim to becoming a defiant survivor whose voice sparked a revolution. This is not just the story of a crime. It is the story of what happens when one woman says, "Enough," and the tremors that follow.
