Ranveer Singh turns Jayeshbhai Jordaar for YRF’s next

Ranveer Singh is one actor who surprises us with his every film. We are still in an awe of his performance in this year’s release Gully Boy and he has some interesting films like ’83 and Takht in his kitty. And now, Ranveer has signed one more film. The actor will be seen in YRF’s next which is titled as Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

The actor took to Twitter to inform his fans about it. He tweeted, “Its a ‘miracle script’!!! ? Thrilled to announce my next film - ‘JAYESHBHAI JORDAAR’ ? @yrf #JayeshbhaiJordaar.”


The movie will be directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar. Divyang might be new to direction, but he has acted in Gujarati films like Kevi Rite Jaish, Bey Yaar, and others. Ranveer also shared a video to introduce his director. He tweeted, “Where in the world did this kid come from?!?!? #DivyangThakkar is straight up JORDAAR !!! ??❤?? @yrf #JayeshbhaiJordaar.”

Ranveer in the video is seen speaking in Gujarati and of course as the title suggests his character in the film will be of a Gujarati guy. We can’t wait to see Ranveer as Jayeshbhai Jordaar on the big screen.

A film led by story, not stardom

Mammootty has stressed that Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, is anchored in its narrative rather than its star cast.

Speaking about the espionage thriller, he said the film is driven by its content and plot, adding that it does not follow a set formula but instead aims to establish one. He also pointed to the presence of strong female characters within the story.
