Never Have I Ever 4 to premiere on THIS date; trailer unveiled

The full-length trailer for the fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever is finally out. Co-created and co-written by Mindy Kaling, the globally popular series features Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Darren Barnet, and Jared Lewison in important roles and revolves around the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl.

The series stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, an overachieving high school student who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.

The first trailer for the upcoming season premiered Tuesday morning and confirms that Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) still has no idea how to navigate crushes, friendships, and now, sex. But this time around, she is also preparing to graduate high school, People reported.

The official logline reads, "Yep, we did it. The fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever is almost here, and it's a banging ending. Get ready for senior year, nerds.

The clip opens with Devi's first time, which she shared with frenemy and frequent love interest Ben (Jaren Lewison) in the season 3 finale.

"Well, we did it," she says enthusiastically, staring at Ben's ceiling. "We had sex."

What follows is a game of avoidance in which Devi refuses to talk to Ben. All until she spots him kissing someone else.

"I assumed it was, like, a one-time thing," Ben admits after an angry Devi spots his new love interest.

' Never Have I Ever' is created by executive producers, Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, with Fisher serving as the showrunner. Never Have I Ever is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by 3 Arts Entertainment's Howard Klein and David Miner.

The final season of Never Have I Ever is touted to be the funniest and wittiest of all seasons and also equally heart-warming.

The series is slated to premiere on Netflix on June 8, 2023.
