Namastey England starts rolling in Amritsar

Filmmaker Vipul Shah's upcoming film, Namastey England, started rolling today. The whole cast and crew of the film are currently in Amritsar where they have commenced the first shooting schedule of the movie.

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, who play the lead couple in the movie, were also part of the first-day shooting.


Namastey England is Arjun Kapoor's eleventh film. The actor was excited but equally nervous about beginning the movie. He expressed his feelings through a tweet. "Starting a journey, need the blessings, nervous & excited about my film #Number11 #NamasteEngland ? ?? ??," he tweeted.

Before beginning the first schedule of the film, Arjun and Parineeti visited Golden Temple yesterday and sought blessings from the God.

After canning some important scenes of the film in Amritsar, the team will head to Ludhiana followed up by then Patiala. Besides India, the film will also be shot overseas across locations in Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and London.

Helmed by Vipul Shah, Namastey England is presented by Jayantilal Gada of PEN and Reliance Entertainment.
