According to latest media reports, popular television actress Megha Chakraborty has been signed to play the female lead in renowned producer Saurabh Tewari’s forthcoming show for Star Plus. The show is said to be inspired from the work of popular Hindi writer Harishankar Parsai. Megha, who hails from Kolkata and made her acting debut with Shashi Sumeet Productions’ Badii Devrani, was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s period drama, Peshwa Bajirao.
