Kartik and Kriti starrer Luka Chuppi locks 1st March for release

The makers of Luka Chuppi have announced the release date of the much-awaited romcom. Toplined by Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) fame Kartik Aaryan and gorgeous Kriti Sanon, the film will hit the marquee on 1st March, 2019.

This is the first time when Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon have collaborated for a film. The audience is quite excited to see their fresh pairing on celluloid. Talking about both actors’ roles in the movie, they play local TV reporters from Mathura.


Luka Chuppi is helmed by debutant director Laxman Utekar. Producer Dinesh Vijan, known for superhit films like Hindi Medium (2017) and Stree (2018), is producing the movie under the banner of Maddock Films.

Praising Kartik and Kriti, Vijan says, “At Maddock, we’ve always tried to ensure we achieve a balance between content and commercial cinema. Stree has been a big boost and we can’t wait for Luka Chuppi now. Kartik and Kriti have done a phenomenal job and it’s exciting to bring it to the audiences.”

In addition to Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, Luka Chuppi also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Vinay Pathak in prominent roles.

Don’t forget to watch the film in cinemas on 1st March, 2019.

The Nick Reiner murder case has entered its first formal stage in court. Two days after Hollywood figures Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner were found dead in their Los Angeles home, their surviving children issued a short statement asking for privacy and space.

Jake and Romy Reiner spoke of “unimaginable pain” and a “devastating loss” following the deaths of the director behind A Few Good Men and his photographer wife. They did not address the allegations against their brother Nick, now facing two counts of first-degree murder. They simply asked for “compassion” and said their parents were not only family but “best friends”.
