Kartik Aaryan and Jacqueline Fernandez were all set to star together in the Hindi remake of Kannada film Kirik Party. But the film has been put on a backburner and there’s no development about it. But fans of Kartik and Jacqueline who wanted to see them on the big screen together here’s exciting news for them.
According to an entertainment portal, the makers of the sequel of Chashme Baddoor have approached Kartik and Jacqueline for the movie. A source told the portal, “The producers want Kartik because he will not only add value to the project but make it a bankable feature. His films are doing 80-100 crore business now and he is also instrumental in driving such films. Chashme Baddoor is also in that funny, happy comedy space which he’s brilliant in. They have initiated talks with him. Once he returns from the second schedule of Aaj Kal from Udaipur, he will formally meet the director and decide on whether he wants to be a part of the film.”
Well, if this report turns out to be true, it will be interesting to see the fresh pairing of Kartik and Jacqueline on the big screen.
Coming to their other projects, Kartik has movies like Aaj Kal and Pati Patni Aur Woh in his kitty. Meanwhile, Jacqueline is all set to make her digital debut with Netflix’s Mrs. Serial Killer which will be directed by Shirish Kunder.
